After Week One: Running More Than One Bot
Finished Your First Week With a Grok Bot and feeling comfortable with one Bot? Here's how to add more without things getting messy. There's no rush. One Bot is plenty for many people.

Running a Few Bots Without Chaos
The official guide says focused Bots build more useful context than one catch-all Bot. Add another Bot with New, then Create new Bot, when your work naturally splits into separate roles.[1] You can also put a few Bots in the same conversation, and they pass work between themselves.[2]
- They share one computer. All of your Bots share one cloud computer, so files and website logins on it are available to every Bot. Separate Bots aren't a security wall.[3]
- Tidy up. Sign out of websites a Bot no longer needs, and remove sensitive files when a project is done.[3]
- Check in regularly. Review your connected apps and routines now and then, and pause a routine when the way you work changes.[3]
Lessons from Running Dozens of Bots for a Small Business
- One clear job per Bot. A Bot that does one thing well is easier to trust and easier to fix than one that does everything.
- Start with read-and-draft jobs. Let new Bots summarize, sort, and draft first. Give them more responsibility only after their work has been reliably good.
- Review before anything sends. Keep every email, post, purchase, and deletion behind your approval, especially in the first weeks.
- Give each Bot a clear name. Name it after its job, so you always know who is doing what when you look at the list.
- Keep a "front door" Bot. Have one Bot you message first, whose job is to send each request to the right Bot. That way you don't have to remember which Bot handles what.
